At Vivacity School of Theatre, we regularly welcome experienced industry professionals to deliver exciting masterclasses and workshops. From stage and screen actors to directors, choreographers, and professionally trained drama school graduates, our students benefit from learning directly from those working within the industry.

These sessions provide fresh perspectives, specialist knowledge, and unique experiences that complement our regular weekly classes. By working with a variety of professionals, students gain insight into different approaches, techniques, and career pathways, ensuring their training remains diverse, inspiring, and up to date. Each guest brings something new, helping our students broaden their understanding of the performing arts while developing their confidence, creativity, and skills.

Our dedicated educators at Vivacity are industry veterans who love nurturing future stars. With diverse careers in drama and musical performance, they deliver world-class training in an uplifting setting where children grow in skill and self-assurance. Every staff member is vetted via enhanced DBS checks, ensuring a secure and encouraging space for all.

Recent workshops have included a SIX The Musical masterclass with Amelia Atherton, who performed professionally as Catherine Parr; a Screen Audition Technique workshop with Emmerdale actor Sarah Sweeney; a Musical Theatre workshop with ITV Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway dancer Ciara Booker; and a Screen Acting masterclass with Holly Maguire, known for her role in The Bay.

Over the years, our students have worked with professionals whose credits include Netflix's Haunted, BBC's Doctors, Waitress, Friends! The Musical Parody, Evermoor, EastEnders, Pretty Woman: The Musical, national television commercials, and many more.
